Skilled up is run by Laura & Louise, who between them have decades of experience working with organisations and their employees. It was born out of a desire to create a different approach to boosting an individual’s employability by primarily increasing their confidence and self-belief so that they can achieve their objectives.

Laura spent many years designing and running assessment centres for a wide variety of organisations, including universities, public sector, charities, owner managed businesses and multinational corporations. She holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology and the Level A & B Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing, so is fully qualified to administer and feedback psychometric questionnaires and ability tests.

Louise is an experienced business consultant with over for 30 years experience. She has worked with a variety of organisations to align their culture with their communications, so understands the importance of cultural fit and the positive impact that hiring the right person can have on a organisation.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a guest University lecturer, she is a highly experienced presenter & facilitator who develops & delivers engaging training sessions in a wide variety of areas. She works with homelessness and housing charities developing programmes that effectively reach vulnerable and hard to engage individuals, and is passionate about assisting people to reach their full potential.
